Dr. Jefferey Picirillo

Dr. Jeffrey Piccirillo is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon in Ocala, Florida, and is the creator of the Perfect PRP® Method.

Born in Pennsylvania, and growing up watching Penn State football, he went on to attend the Penn State University graduating with honors, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. He received his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating as Valedictorian.

Dr. Piccirillo went on to complete his specialty training at the Chicago Osteopathic Medical Center in Orthopedic Surgery where he received multiple awards and honors including Outstanding Chief Resident and Resident of the Year. Dr. Piccirillo spent time as an Associate Professor at Des Moines University and was Clinical Instructor of the year in 2006.

In private practice, his first focus was general orthopedics with a focus in joint replacement surgery but found his true passion in 2002 when a centrifuge first rolled into his operating room. In the early 2000’s he developed techniques for utilizing platelet-rich plasma in a surgical setting, as well in his clinical office practice. In 2009, he transitioned from a surgical based to a regenerative-based orthopedic practice.

Today, his areas of expertise include Regenerative Therapies in Orthopedics, Aesthetics, and Sexual Health. He is the author of two books on platelet-rich plasma and his currently working on his third. He has also contributed chapters in several other books.

He resides in Ocala Florida with his beautiful wife Jennifer and is a proud father of two grown children: Tricia and Brian.

Although he lives on a golf course, he can usually be found in his spare time landscaping his yard, or at the beach with his family.

His true passion lies in helping his patients live their best possible lives and making “you a better you”.
