The Aspen Institute for Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine has a world-class reputation for its commitment to shifting the emphasis from a “disease-driven” medicine to a “longevity-driven” approach to care. We treat patients from a personalized perspective using the most comprehensive and advanced programs available in alignment with their specific medical situations.
Our primary goal is to help our patients enjoy the best possible quality of life. This not only means living without disease, but living better, for longer. We do this by exceeding expectations and providing patients with the highest quality of care they deserve from health professionals.
Our practice is led by Dr. Julian Robert Gershon Jr., D.O., FAOASM, ABAARM. Dr. Gershon founded the Aspen Institute for Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine in order to provide access to highly advanced and personalized care beyond what conventional medicine is able to accomplish. His expertise in regenerative therapies, primary care, hormone optimization, age management, and regenerative aesthetics have been sought after by thousands of people throughout his career.
Dr. Gershon is triple-board-certified in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Gershon also holds a fellowship in Stem Cell therapy awarded by the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Gershon received his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. He is also a fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine and served on their Board of Directors for twelve years.
Growing up, Dr. Gershon was very active in ski racing and several other sports, which grew his passion for working with athletes in a medical setting. Over the course of his career, he has been involved with treating numerous sports teams and truly believes in living a life that is full of physical activity.
Dr. Gershon served as the head team physician for the University of North Texas for over twenty years. He also served as a resident physician at the Colorado Springs U.S. Olympic Training Center in 1993. He was a team physician for the U.S. Olympic Judo team from 1993-2000 and served as the team physician at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He also traveled to Chile with the U.S. Freestyle ski team during the summer of 2006.
Dr. Gershon has been the team physician for many North Texas high schools. He also covered many professional wrestling events for the WWE at their Dallas events. He traveled with the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing Commission performing on-water rescue and providing medical care for their drivers.
When he isn’t treating his patients (so that they can be more active), you will find him hunting, fishing, skiing, or hiking. In his “down time” he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
