Welcome to Approved Medical Solutions (AMS). My name is Maria Watson, and I am excited to share over 32 years of experience in the supplement formulation and manufacturing industry.

In 1987 I lost my 3-year-old son Joshua to a drunk driver. For three years, I suffered from severe depression and was overly medicated.

On 2/11/91, I was introduced to an amino acid formulation and got my life back. The passion for saving people from depression in my son’s honor had begun.

Soon after joining the company that made that formula-it stopped working! It was in 1994 that I went into formulation and manufacturing so I would always be able to control the quality of my products.

Before recently starting Approved Medical Solutions, my husband and I owned Vitamin Research Products (VRP), which included the highly respected medical brand Complementary Prescriptions (CP). Over 1100 formulas were manufactured in our state-of-the-art 55,000-square-foot cGMP facility. Although we sold the brands in 2010, my retirement was short-lived as my passion for health remained strong.

Throughout my deeply rewarding journey in the Health and Wellness industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing experts. I have worked with many of the who’s-who in medicine and science. Yes, I am proudly name-dropping….and there are so many more. I am proud to say I am a happy, healthy 67-year-old whose dedication to personal health and wellness has paid off! Through focusing on my own personalized health program, my blood work has impressed even the laboratory, and my energy levels are consistently high. I’m excited to share my secrets so you, too, can achieve optimal health and wellness!
